Museum-Bottle

There is no doubt, you have visited a lot of differents museums. But have you ever been to Museum-Bottle? No, not museum with bottles, but museum in form of a bottle? Something tells me that no. Of course no, if you weren’t in Pridnestrovien Moldovan Republic.  So now you have one more reason to come ;-)

Come on guys, don’t you recognise the bottle on the picture? :) At least, it was supposed to be a bottle…

Unique museum is situated in the village Ternovka, which is on the left bank of the Dniester and about 3,5 – 4 km from Tiraspol (in the direction to Bender).

In 1988, Gregory V. Korzun , entrepreneur and president of FC ” Tiligul “, founded in Ternovka Museum of alcohol drinks. Later on its base have appeared the museum and tourist hotel complex ” Wine Museum ” Bottle ” .” The museum is notable for being housed inside a five-story structure shaped like a giant bottle.The height of the building is 28 meters. It includes five exhibition halls in which exposed more than 10,000 thousand bottles of wine and other alcohol drinks from more than 100 countries . The complex also includes : four-star hotel with 6 rooms, restaurant, 5 bars, 2 tasting rooms, gift shop, sauna, swimming pool, a large tennis court, gym and of course degustation halls.

What is interesting to know, the building is listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest building in the world in the shape of a bottle!!!
